About London Cert

Secure Your Business With London Cert

About Our Commitment to Faster, Affordable SOC 2 Attestation

Helping Businesses Get SOC 2 Certified — Faster and for Less.

London Cert is a US-certified certification body with an in-house pool of CPAs, built specifically to give companies access to enterprise-grade SOC 2 attestation without the enterprise price tag or the months-long delays.

Traditional US CPA firms charge $15,000–$100,000+ and introduce coordination delays between readiness consultants and external auditors. London Cert eliminates that entirely. Our in-house CPA team handles everything — from your first gap assessment to the final signed attestation report — under one roof, with fixed-fee pricing and no surprises.

We serve startups, SaaS companies, cloud providers, IT managed services, fintech, and healthcare technology organizations across the US, UK, EU, and beyond.

What Our Certification Actually Rests On

SOC 2 reports carry weight because of who's allowed to issue them, not just what's written inside. Here's what stands behind ours.

🏛️

Licensed CPA Firm

Under AICPA standards (AT-C 105/205), only a state-licensed CPA firm can issue a SOC 2 report. London Cert's CPAs hold active licenses verifiable through the relevant State Board of Accountancy.

🔍

AICPA Peer Review

Our audit practice is enrolled in the AICPA Peer Review Program, an external quality inspection every three years that checks our work meets professional standards — not self-certification.

⚖️

Independence, Enforced

AICPA independence rules mean the CPA who signs your report can't have designed the controls being tested. We separate implementation and attestation work internally to keep that line intact.

Why Businesses Choose London Cert

How We Got Here

Built by people who watched the traditional model waste too much of clients' time and money.

1
The Problem

Too Slow, Too Costly

Our founding CPAs kept watching clients wait months and pay six figures for reports that should've taken weeks — split across consultants and outside auditors who barely talked to each other.

2
The Fix

One Team, Under One Roof

We built London Cert around a single in-house CPA team that handles readiness and attestation together — removing the hand-off that caused most of the delay and cost.

3
The Growth

Beyond SOC 2

As clients came back needing ISO 27001, HIPAA, and GDPR work too, we built out full multi-framework coverage rather than referring that work elsewhere.

4
Today

A Global Client Base

What started as a US-focused practice now serves companies across the US, UK, and EU, with the same fixed-fee, single-team model at every stage.

Questions About Working With Us

The things prospects usually verify before signing an engagement letter.

Is a SOC 2 report from London Cert legally valid?
Yes. Under AICPA standards (AT-C 105/205), only a licensed CPA firm can issue a SOC 2 report, and London Cert's engagements are led by state-licensed CPAs. You're welcome to verify our license status directly with the relevant State Board of Accountancy before signing.
Are you actually independent, given you also do implementation work?
Yes — AICPA independence rules require that the CPA signing your report didn't design the controls being tested. We keep implementation and attestation functionally separate internally so the auditor on your engagement isn't grading their own work.
What is AICPA Peer Review, and are you enrolled?
Peer Review is an external quality inspection every CPA firm performing attestation work must undergo every three years, rated Pass, Pass with Deficiencies, or Fail. It's how the profession checks that a firm's audit work actually meets standards rather than taking its word for it. We're enrolled and happy to share our current standing on request.
Do you work with companies outside the US?
Yes — while the CPA license and AICPA standards are US-based, SOC 2 reports are recognized by enterprise buyers globally. We regularly work with clients headquartered in the UK and EU, and increasingly with companies further afield.
